Start a fundraiser for Kindred Box

Launch your Instagram campaign.

• Open Facebook on your phone or computer.

• Search for "Fundraisers" in the search bar or menu.

• Click or tap Create Fundraiser (or Raise Money).

• Choose the nonprofit or charity you want to support.

• Enter your goal amount, currency, and end date.

• Add a title and a description explaining why you care about the cause.

• Choose a cover photo.

• Tap or click Create to post your fundraiser live.

• Go to the website: Click "Start a GoFundMe" on the homepage.

• Enter basic details: Provide your country, ZIP code, and category.

• Choose the recipient: Indicate whether you are raising money for yourself, someone else, or a charity.

• Set a goal: Enter a realistic target amount. You can change this later, and you do not need to reach your goal to withdraw funds.

• Create an account: Sign in with Google, Apple, or your email and password, then verify your phone number.

• Add a title: Pick a clear, descriptive title that explains your cause.

• Upload media: Add a high-quality photo or video. Campaigns with personal images or videos build more trust and raise more money.

• Write your story: Be honest, open, and specific about why you need help and how the money will be used. Break down individual expenses so donors can see the details. Use GoFundMe's built-in AI writing tools if you need help polishing your text.

• Open Instagram and tap the plus (+) icon at the top right or on your profile.

• Select Fundraiser from the creation menu.

• Search for and select a registered nonprofit organization.

• Add a cover photo or image, a title, and a description explaining your cause.

• Set your fundraising goal and optionally invite collaborators.

• Tap Share to publish it to your feed and add it to your bio.

• Swipe right from your home feed to open the Story camera and take or upload a photo/video.

• Tap the Sticker icon (smiley face) at the top of the screen.

• Select the Donation sticker.

• Search for and choose the nonprofit you want to support.

• Tap Done, then share your story so your followers can tap to donate.

Kindred Box is a nonprofit that provides donated ostomy supplies at no cost to people across the United States who are uninsured, underinsured, or facing financial hardship. I’m raising funds to help them get these essential supplies into the hands of people who need them.

No one should have to ration or go without the ostomy supplies they need because they can’t afford them. Kindred Box helps by collecting new, unexpired donated supplies and distributing them at no cost to people facing financial hardship. I’m fundraising to help them continue this important work.

Kindred Box receives donated ostomy supplies, but getting those supplies to people in need requires funding. Donations help cover the work of receiving, sorting, matching, packing, and shipping supplies across the country. I’m raising money to help Kindred Box turn donated supplies into boxes of essential care.

Perfectly good ostomy supplies often go unused or are thrown away, while other people struggle to afford the very same products. Kindred Box bridges that gap by recovering new, unexpired supplies and redistributing them to people who need them. This fundraiser will help keep supplies out of landfills and get them where they belong.

Kindred Box receives hundreds of requests each year from people who are struggling to afford the ostomy supplies they depend on every day. The need for assistance exceeds the resources available. I started this fundraiser to help Kindred Box respond to more requests and make sure more people have access to the critical supplies they need to live with dignity.
