2020 Annual Report

We made a difference.

It has been an honor to be a resource for so many throughout this unprecedented year. We continued to operate in response to a global pandemic and multiple national emergencies to meet the needs of ostomates who became unemployed, lost health insurance, and couldn’t afford to buy ostomy supplies.

The Seal of Transparency is a recognition that Candid (formerly GuideStar) presents to eligible nonprofits. It shows an organization's commitment to transparency and accountability about its mission and impact. Kindred Box earned the Gold Seal.

Environmental Impact

The World Health Organization states that about 85% of the total waste rendered by healthcare activities is general, non-hazardous supplies.

Kindred Box circulated over 5,000 pounds of brand-new medical supplies in 2020.
